tendering is just like offering a 1 year extension at the same money.

Tendering takes that amount out of your remaining cap until he is signed, it won't add to his contract or cap hit, normally would just ensure you get compensation if he signed elsewhere I think...

Can you sign a rfa that has been tendered or do you have to wait till july 1st. Has anyone signed one? Can you sign the ones with the green rfa box.

Once you tender an RFA you can still keep trying to re-sign him

Probably won't be able to sim through the re-sign period very fast (Likely sticking to our current schedule), but would people be ok with going through the free-agent period in a day? Seeing as they can be signed during season to, I don't think it would be a big issue. Let me know

i think the first rotation of free agents should be normal just cause everyone should get a chance at the good free agents if there are any haha

I think that anyone with any value to our teams will be gone after the first sim...there will likely be many bidders for free agents and I cant see any of them not signing

Yeah, give everyone a shot the first go around and then just fast forward.

I miss playing games!

Just a heads up, because I wasn't aware of this myself. Was reading the help section in GM Connected and saw that the CPU will NOT automatically fill your roster if under the minimum size. Would hate to see the start of the season be delayed because some GMs may not have enough players on their roster and have to scramble to sign FAs so they can play a game. Maybe some kind of off-season checklist to keep everyone aware of who needs to do what? Not sure if the CPU will prompt teams if there is any issues, seems hit or miss.
