This looks amazing and I would love to join your league!
I saw that Philly might get available and I find that as great news beacuse I'm most keen on taking over Carolina or Philly but actually almost any team would do! Well maybe not Blue Jackets but you get the point...

Carolina or Philly but I am open for suggestions

Welcome man, I'm glad you like what you see haha. Unfortunately Philly was just verified so that is not as likely to open. I'm waiting on word from Pop if the time zone change will affect his joining, if so you got a spot. If he joins then there's the possibility of an opening tomorrow (waiting 24 hours for response from first guy on waiting list), and if he does respond, there may be another opening on the 25th (Kings). So hold tight and I hope we can find a spot for you. I will email you the second a spot opens

Awesome!
Well I'm from Sweden so I don't know how the time differents will be over here but right now I've got alot of time on my hands so that shouldn't be a problem really.
Looking forward to hear from you about that

If you could give me some time frame when you think games will take place i could check my options. If its 5-6 pm in USA, then it will be 11-12-1 am here so that shouldn`t be a problem except some rl issues that can pop up.

If this turns out to be a problem for you at some point during season fell free to replace me. I just want some fun in online games and dont want to stay in someones`s way who wants the same. cheesy

I'll try to give a general idea to our European hockey fans what times games will most likely be played at, because we would enjoy having you guys in the league smiley .

My guess is that about 25 or more of our members are North American so I'll compare to our timezones. I'm thinking most games will be played after working hours here, so anywhere between 4PM EST and 10PM EST (We do have members that are in PST as well). So 4PM EST is 10PM (Swedish & Serbian time). 10PM EST is 4AM (your time). So against EST opponents you would be playing between 10PM and 4AM most of the time. Against PST opponents it would be between 1AM & 7AM your time. So in total, your games would be played anywhere between 10PM and 7AM (most of the time, not always).

Bear in mind there will be a rule in place that ensures all GM's play a minimum amount of games per season (to ensure people are active). The #'s are not set yet, but my guess is that everyone will only be allowed to miss between 10 to 20 games of the 82 game season.

If you think this won't be an issue for you then let me know. If it is, then I am very sorry, it would have been great to have you!

I think it will be fine. If i can arrange matches between 10 pm an 2am (my time) it will be great.

Also i have 2 questions for which i haven`t found answers or haven`t looked good enough. smiley

1. Will i be able to play my 4 day games in a 2 day period if i can arrange that with other players? F.e. Monday and Tuesday or
Monday and Thursday. Would be better for me to have 2 longer sessions than stretch it to 4 days because of time difference. smiley

2. After how many days do we start a new 4 day cycle when we finish one?

1. If you can arrange it with every player then yeah absolutely. But there is no guarantee that every player will be able/willing to do that. So if you are unavailable for two days out of every four you run the risk of missing lots of games which would get you replaced.

2. We play two weeks of NHL schedule every four days. See the schedule which Detroit posted above for exact dates.

So if you think that everything sounds ok and won't be a problem for you please register in the forums, what team you want (either Florida or St. Louis), post your PSN and E-mail, and finish up the "GM Check-List".

Once everything is done I can verify you, but it's got to be done before August 25th. Sound good?

A friend of mine is interested in joining, He's at work atm so he can't sign up but he'd be fairly active and will take any team.

His email is kpellegroms@gmail.com and I forget his PSN but I think it's like K1llerc00kie

Everything seems so organized and people seem very friendly here. smiley I would love to be in a league like this. Schedule seems tight but then i saw official schedule for this season and they have 5-7 games in 2 weeks period, which is for me manageable. I can even play one cycle in 1 night, if others are available of course. cheesy

Sign me up for Blues then!!! I will go and do that other stuff you mentioned.

You're able to change your name.

I should know (was the original Florida GM).
